He is survived by: his daughters, Katelyn Sims (Zachary) of Marion, IL and Abbelyn Lerch (Seth) of Marion, IL; his grandson Cooper Sims; his siblings, Phillip Thompson (Aurelia) of Corona, CA and Melinda Portillo (Angel) of Denver, CO; his siblings-in-law, Billy and Christy Gray of Marion, IL; and his siblings' children, Darian, Adrian Thompson, Elliott Gray, Brandon Portillo, Nikolas Portillo, Olivia Viès (Victor) and Zoey Portillo.
