He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Farris and Mildred Lucille Farris (Dean); his former wife Shelley Lambert; and his great grandchildren, Alexis and Crystal Lou.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his brother Eugene (Cheryl); his children, Scott, Jeff and Crystal (James); his grandchildren, Erin, Mitchell, Skyler, Alexis, Ariel (Dustin), Jeffery (Hannah), Mason, Brinley, Kameron and Kaylen; and his great grandchildren, Silas, Sarah, Mark and Xander. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
For those who prefer, the family suggests memorial contributions be given to the "Community Living Center" of the Marion V.A. Medical Center.
