He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sears and Elsie Lee Sears (Moore); his son Randy; and his grandson David South. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Tanner (Smith). He is also survived by four children; nineteen grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
