He was predeceased by: his parents, John Luke and Elsie Mae Johnson (Foster); his son Jeremiah Johnson; and his siblings, Carol Snoddy, Linda Bartley, Robert Johnson and Jimmy Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Brannon Johnson of Marion, IL and Kinda Simpson (John) of Marion, IL; his grandchildren, Kyle Wahl of Portland, OR, McKenzie Everett (Jordan) of Shreveport, LA, Alyson True of Prince George, VA, John Luke Simpson of Paducah, KY, Sara Elizabeth Simpson of Paducah, KY and Haylie Wolaver of Marion, IL; and his former wife Alicia A. Oakley of Carbondale, IL. He is also survived by other extended family and many friends.
