She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Carl Boyd and Mildred East Boyd; her husband Rev. Wendalenous Joel Cox; her son Matthew Aaron Cox; and her sisters, Jean Williams and Beverly Cotton.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Cox of Marion, KY and Melissa Harper (Gary) of Fredonia, KY; her grandchildren, Matthew Wayne Cox, Jolene Dawn Sherman, Wesley Alan Cox, Jessica Buchanan and Roy Givens; her sister Ruth Holland of Evansville, IN; and her close friends, Reggie Hodge of Marion, KY, Jessica Bane and Amber Hamilton. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
