He was predeceased by: his parents, Audra Bennett and Gertrude Bennett (Maxedon); his siblings, Bobbie Bennett, Willard Bennett, Dale Bennett (Mildred) and Wanda Nolen (William); and his nephew Sandy Bennett.

He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Bennett of Marion; his nieces, Valerie Nolen (Jay Tennies), Cindy Blim (Rob) and Diana Bennett; and his great-nephew Matthew. He is also survived by relatives and friends.

For those who prefer, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to "CLC – Hospice" or "Heartland Christian Church.".
