He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos L. Boyt and Ruth J. Boyt (Watkins). He is survived by: his wife Beverly Boyt of Marion, IL; his children, Benjamin Paul Boyt (Theresa) of Marion, IL and Mary Boyt of Marion, IL; his grandchildren, Rebekah Boyt of Marion, IL and Michael Boyt of Marion, IL; and his aunt Melanie Sutton of Minneapolis, MN. He is also survived by numerous cousins, and a host of other extended family members and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wilson-McReynolds Funeral Home (900 N Court St, Marion, IL 62959). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
