We are sad to announce that on January 24, 2020, at the age of 83, Paul E. Edwards Sr. (Marion, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Edwards and Fern Edwards (Beasley); his sons, Jeff D. Edwards and Matt Edwards; and his parents-in-law, George and Vivian Strunk.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Strunk; his children, Paul Edwards, Jr. (Sylvia) of Johnston City and Jane Watson (David) of Grand Chain; his daughter-in-law Elizabeth Edwards of Marion; and his sister Norma Bennett (Deon) of Crab Orchard. He is also survived by six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

For those who prefer memorials may be made to the Century School – Helping Hands Program in Ullin.

“I am so sorry to hear of Paul’s passing. He was such a kind person that loved Jesus. I work at Sunshine Garden. I’m the hairdresser that does Nancy’s hair. . Paul always sat in and loved to talk to me about my summer business. My parents and I own a carnival and Paul thought that was so interesting. He was always full of questions. Nancy and Paul always brightened my day. Prayers for Nancy and the family.”
