She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee Simonds and Lulabelle Isbell; her husband Richard Lee Alstat; and her brother-in-law Kelvin Walker. She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey Dwayne "JD" Severs, Jr. (Catherine Ryan) of Nashville, IL and Robert Lee Cody of Marion; her boyfriend Scott Nicely of Carbondale; her siblings, Hank Isbell (Elizabeth) of Herrin, Karen Isbell (Gary Robinson) of Herrin and Betty Walker of West Frankfort; her siblings' children, Jeffrey Isbell (Ruth Ann), Caycee Isbell, Holly Isbell, Michael Walker (Leah), Joseph Walker, Neaveh Walker, Marie Walker, Makayla Walker Jeremiah Reagan and Karen Norman (Tim); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Parker, Skylar, Keiman, Keire, Chloe, Sophia and Brennan Reagan; and her former husband Jeffrey Dwayne Severs, Sr.. She is also survived by three step-children from a previous marriage.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Pyle Funeral Home (1008 W Broadway Blvd, Johnston City, IL 62951). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
