Rebecca Mae McGee Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 19, 2025, at the age of 62, Rebecca Mae McGee of Marion, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Rebecca Mae may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rebecca Mae touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bobby Lee Samples and Romalee Samples (Lindsey); and her brother Joe Samples. She is survived by: her husband Dave; her son Chase McGee; and her brother Gary Samples (Martha).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Blue Funeral Home (1704 N Court St, Marion, IL 62959). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois, in recognition of their compassionate support.
