He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L Nemeth and Shirley Nemeth; his nephew Brad Dawes; and his parents-in-law, Hallie and Marie Watson.

He is survived by: his wife Patti; his children, Shaun (Brittany) of Marion and Lindsay of Marion; his grandchildren, Talan, Marlee of Herrin, Camden and Lucca of Marion; his siblings, Randy Nemeth (Marcella) of Marion and Sheri King (Larry) of Marion; his brother-in-law Gene Watson (Carrie); and his close friends, Tim Baker, John Thomas and Jim Pearson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests with gratitude that memorial donations be made in Rick's honor to the organization of the donor's choice.
