He was predeceased by: his parents, Dick Poe and Sarah Poe (Dameron); and his sister Julia Ann Endres. He is survived by: his children, Angie Gordon (Jay) of Goreville, IL and Todd Poe (Susan) of Ewing, IL; his grandchildren, Tommi Poe of Washington, DC, Dillon Poe of Ewing, IL, Zachary Colson of Vienna, IL and Rachael Melcher (Brandon) of Tunnel Hill, IL; and his great grandchildren, Cheyanne Colson, Lilly Colson, Wayllon Colson, Jase Colson and Kane Melcher. He is also survived by other extended family and many friends.
