He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsberry Hancock and Mary Ruth Hancock (Frick); his parents-in-law, George and Anna Mae Dodds; his brothers, Wilson Hancock and Reverend David Hancock; his sisters-in-law, Ruth Hancock and Alice Jean Schoppenthau (Rudy); and his nephews, Scott Hancock and Nicky Rametta.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Hancock of Marion; his daughters, Kellianne McSparin (Michael) of Stonefort, IL and Karen J. Hancock of Denver, CO; his grandchildren, Henry William Benerman of Denver, CO, Anna Grace Benerman of Denver, CO, Shauna Yancey (Rob) of Houston, TX and Joshua Wade McSparin of Carrier Mills, IL; his great grandchildren, Trenton, Austin Yancey and Hunter Wade McSparin; his great great grandchildren, Ramsey Nicole McSparin and Huntleigh McSparin; his brother Ray Hancock of Marion; his siblings-in-law, Jackie Hancock of Lynchburg, VA, John Dodds (Linda) of Marion and Georgeann Mullis (Terry) of Bedford, IN; and his nieces and nephews, Barry Hancock (Jennifer), Darrell Hancock (Colleen), Chase Dodds, Camden Dodds, Janeen Plumer (Steve), Valerie Hancock, Tina Adams (Larry), Toni Rametta and Carol Hawthorne. He is also survived by several other extended family members and friends.
