He was predeceased by: his parents, James Victor and Gertrude Cobb; and his siblings, Donna, Sue and John.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen Cobb (Christy), Brian Cobb (Mary) and Amy Woosley (Steve); his grandchildren, Michael, Jay, Cameron, Meghan, Dylan, Harley, Victor, Vaughan, Vilhelm, Maggie and Tekoa; his sibling's children, Tracy, Beth Ann, Tonia, Shanna, Wanda and John Robert; his girlfriend Melba "Mel" Tate; and his pet Bonzai.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home of Johnston City (211 W Broadway Blvd, Johnston City, IL 62951). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the VA in Marion, Illinois or VFW Post 1301 in Marion, Illinois.
