He was predeceased by: his parents, John Donald and Belva Loretta Elliott, Jr. (Satterfield). He is survived by: his wife Michelle Elliott of Marion; his stepparents-in-law, Raymond "Doc" Hechler of Marion and Linda Rucker of Middleburg, FL; his siblings, Kenneth Elliott, Richard Elliott (Karen) of Arkansas and Brenda McWhorter (Russell) of Arkansas; and his brother-in-law Lonnie Rucker II (Diane) of Scranton, PA. He is also survived by five nephews; and a host of other extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Marion Cultural & Civic Center (800 Tower Square Plaza, Marion, IL 62959).
For those who prefer, the family suggests memorial donations be directed to "Marion Cultural and Civic Center.".
