It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Amann of Marissa, Illinois, born in Belleville, Illinois, who passed away on January 4, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Rosann; his son Anthony "Tony" Amann; his father Leonard Sr. (Florence); and his siblings, Robert Amann, Russell Amann and Rae Jean Lotz.
He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Brown (Craig), Barbara Dean (Michael), Sharon Green (David) and Kay Neal (Tommy); his grandchildren, Scott Brown (Jennifer), Sara Wright (Jacob), Matthew Brown (Megan), Taylor Amann, Lauren Zirkelbach (Logan), Seth Dean, Ashley Green, Hannah Green and Troy Neal; his great grandchildren, Maggie Brown, Macie Brown, Ella Wright, Luke Wright, Nora Wright, Emmy Brown, Miles Brown and Lakelynn Zirkelbach; his sisters, Ann Broadhurst (Rick) and Dottie Normand (Jim); and his sister-in-law Mary Stagner. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Southern Illinois and Shriners Hospital for Children.
