He is survived by: his wife Joy F. Porter; his children, Ellen Thiebaud (Tim), Amy James (Rodney) and Wayne Gardner; his grandchildren, Melissa Richey (Ted), Doug Gardner (Kayla), Gayle Ewald (Ivan), Megan Gardner, Jason Gardner (Mandy), Amber Humphrey (Jordan), Julia McDuffie, Aaron Thiebaud, Elizabeth Jackson (Tyler), Heather Koster (Greg), Amber James and Alex James (Alisha); and his great grandchildren, Lilly, Damon, Kaiden, Kelton, Riddick, Dalton, Jayda, Josey, Jocelyn, Alexis, Aniyah, Annabelle, Austin, Rilynn, Owen, Teagyn, Aiden, Chase, Lucas, David, Elaina, Kaden, Bella, Noah, Paislee, Paxten and August. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and many many friends.
Memorials are to Good Samaritan Inn of Decatur or Forsyth United Methodist Church.
