He is survived by: his sons, Daryl J. Hoyt (Dawn) and Trevor L. Hoyt (Portia); his grandchildren, Daryl M. Hoyt, Jeffrey M. Hoyt, T. J. Hoyt and Tracie E. Hoyt; and his siblings, Jack Hoyt (Janet), Cheryle Rambo (late Robert), Charlynn Price (Bill) and Pamela Austin.
