Doris Sobinsky Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Doris Sobinsky of Marseilles, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 3, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Morton and Mary Morton (Juergenson); and her husband Andrew J. Sobinsky of Marseilles. She is survived by: her children, Jan Kercheval of Keller, TX and Dr. Kim Sobinsky (Janice) of Lake Forest, IL; her grandchildren, Erica Albert, Justin Sobinsky (Mila), Lindsay Sobinsky and Jonathon Sobinsky (Gabby); and her great grandchildren, Victoria, Madeline, Daniel, Reese, Jack and Charlotte Sobinsky.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Congregational United Church of Christ (255 E Bluff St, Marseilles, IL 61341).
Memorials may be directed to the First Congregational United Church of Christ or the Seattle Sutton Marseilles Museum.
