It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eric Charles Flanery of Marseilles, Illinois, who passed away on May 5, 2026, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Sterling C. Flanery; and his grandparents, Sterling, Barbara Flanery, William and Eleanore Podlanowicz.
He is survived by: his mother Valerie Flanery (Podkanowicz) of Streator; his stepdaughter Emilee Martin of Streator; his siblings, Matt Flanery (Samantha) of Streator and Vanessa Kennedy of Streator; and his nephews, Roman, Leo Rodriguez, Chase and Emmitt Flanery.
Memorials may be made to any dog shelter or Pet Project.
