She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Mitchell and Cora Mitchell (McCarver); and her husband Clifford Creed of Johnston City. She is survived by: her children, Marsha Truty (Tim) of Normal and Steve Creed (Pat) of Marseilles; her grandchildren, Jessica Capsel (Aaron), Steven Creed (Vicki Heath), Zachary Truty (Lydia) and Caitlin Truty; her great grandchildren, Cameron, Gavin Creed, Francesca, Finn Capsel, Pierson Lee Smerdel and Emerson Truty; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Mitchell and Robert Creed.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Seals-Campbell Funeral Home (1009 E Bluff St, Marseilles, IL 61341). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Denning Cemetery (2821 Orient Rd, West Frankfort, IL 62896).
