He was predeceased by: his parents, Edith Louise Spicer (Moe) and John H. Spicer; and his siblings, Martin Spicer and Florann Spicer. He is survived by: his wife Dayle Olsen of Marseilles; his children, Sherri J. Mathews (Danny) of Marseilles and Philip G. Spicer (Terrie Rayburn) of Marseilles; his grandchildren, Joseph (Bryanna), Anna Mathews, Madison and Tate Spicer; and his great grandchild Leslie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
