He was predeceased by: his father Samuel Carrera; and his daughter Emily Engel. He is survived by: his mother Norma Carrera (Stewart); his wife Lora Powell of Marseilles; his son Clint Carrera (Lexi Potochney); his grandchildren, Drake T. J. Engel, Aubrey Rose, Ella Marie, Trey James, Jaxon Liam and Camden Robert Carrera; his brothers, Bob (Marcy) and Mike Carrera (Alice); and his siblings-in-law, Cindy Decker (Steve), Sandy Sharp and Robert Powell Jr. (Elaine). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
