She was predeceased by: her husband John A. Breen; and her parents, Alfred Hottenstein and Margaret Hottenstein. She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Floyd (Ken) of Elwood, John A. Breen of Marseilles, Diane Rodriguez (Ray) of Aurora, Alice Ziller (Gene) of Georgia, Patrick Breen (Christine) of Wilmington and Daniel Breen of Rockdale; and her siblings, Herb Hottenstein, Kenneth Hottenstein (Elaine) and Sonya Marks. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Farkas Funeral Home (3201 W Jefferson St, Joliet, IL 60431). A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
