He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Robinson and Wanda G. Green Robinson; his brothers, Jerry Robinson and Glen Robinson; his siblings-in-law, John Page, Linda Stevenson and Sharon Dowling; and his stepfather Harold Herring.

He is survived by: his wife Janet C. Shields Robinson; his daughters, Michele Johnson (Larry) and Donette Maynard; his grandchildren, Kyle Johnson (Emily), Kaleb Johnson (Jessica), Logan Maynard (Hanna), Trevor Maynard and Maddie Maynard; his great grandchildren, Ava Johnson, Karsyn Johnson, Finley Johnson, Harper Johnson, Kade Johnson and Jaxx Maynard; his brother Dale Robinson (Phyllis); and his sister-in-law Carol Robinson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
