He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Davis and Mary Roes Davis Jr.; his siblings, Carrie Ann and Woodrow; and his great grandchild Jocelyn.

He is survived by: his wife Thelma Collier Davis; his children, Angela Davis (Steve Snodgrass), Aaron Davis, Eric Davis (Erin) and Rachel McCalister (Harry); and his brother Delbert Davis. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
