He was predeceased by : his parents, Noah Raymond Cown and Iva Mae Garr Cown; and his sister Mary Mullen. He is survived by : his wife Karen Phillips Cown; his children, Robert Cown (Brenda), Holly Lovett of Chrisman, IL, Rhett Galeener (Michelle) of Marshall, IL, Brett Galeener, Katrina Rigs of Terre Haute, IN and Tracy Shumacher (Jake) of Mattoon, IL; and his brother Tom Cown. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.
