She was predeceased by: her parents, Commadore P. Walls and Abbie Walls (Starkey); her husband James H. Hefner; and her siblings, Max Walls, Perry Walls, Lee Walls, Bob Walls, Donnie Walls, Ada Eslinger, Beth Grisham, Ida Bell McDaniel and Albert Walls.
She is survived by: her children, James E. Hefner (Leslie) of Brownsburg, IN, Debra Kay Jodry of Hermitage, TN, Terri Lynn Thompson (Randy) of Martinsville, IL, Kenneth Hefner (Pam) of Marshall, IL, Vicki Reynolds (Steve) of Martinsville, IL, Cindy Williams (Randy) of Fort Meyers, FL and Troy Hefner of Marshall, IL. She is also survived by her 18 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 22nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home (303 E Wood St, Paris, IL 61944). A graveside service was held on Saturday, August 22nd 2026 at 12:15 PM at the Franklin Cemetery.
