She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Bishop and Esther Griffin Bishop; her sister Sylvia Kuhn; her grandchild Courtney Jean Shumaker; and her great grandchild Elle Marie Shumaker.

She is survived by: her sons, Dwane Shumaker (Kim) of Marshall, IL, Tim Shumaker (Veronica) of Terre Haute, IN and Glenn Shumaker (Rachel) of Indianapolis, IN; and her brothers, Nelson Bishop (Carol) of Marshall, IL, Norman Bishop (Sandy) of Marshall, IL and John Bishop (Joyce) of Martinsville, IL. She is also survived by six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
