She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Murphy and Ethel Murphy (Menk); her husbands, Carl Beard and Aeel Madlem; and her brothers, Donald and Richard Murphy.
She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn Sue Shawler (Steve) of West Union, IL; her grandchildren, Eric Shawler of Martinsville, IL and Amy Shawler; and her brother Ray Murphy of Marshall, IL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
