It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susie I. Parsons of Marshall, Illinois, born in Dennison, Illinois, who passed away on May 20, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Elmer Mason and Grace Taylor Mason; her husband William Parsons; her siblings, Dean Mason, Eleanor Wilt, Frances Tharp, Pauline Fisher and Dale Mason; and her son-in-law Joe Rhoads.

She is survived by : her children, Dorothy Rhoads, Bob Parsons (Arlene), Elaine Fritcher (Steve), Mike Parsons (Angie) and Rich Parsons (Paula); her grandchildren, Tammy Brown, Scott Rhoads, Matthew Parsons, Angela Sanders, Jerry Howell, Amy Gard, Daniel Fritcher, Sarah Thompson, Jared Parsons, Bryce Parsons, Kaitlyn Lamb, Emily Johnson and Bethany Brashear; and her brother-in-law Gerald Wilt. She is also survived by 35 great grandchildren, 12 great great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pearce Funeral Home (314 S 6th St, Marshall, IL 62441). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
