He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence "Diz" Dean, Jr. and Aletha "Madge" Dean (McCloud); and his sister Sue Carter. He is survived by: his wife Diane E. May; his children, Lyle Dean (John Liou) of San Francisco, Josh Dean (Bethany) of Jasonville, Sarah Choi of Denver, Lace Wallace (Herman) of Marshall and Joel Dean (Leah) of Carlock, Illinois; his brothers, Max Dean of Greencastle and Jeff Dean of Chicago, Illinois; and his grandchildren, Courteney Austin, Spencer, Mason Dean, Rielly, Sadie and Callie Wallace. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Marshall Baptist Church (1608 IL-1, Marshall, IL 62441).
