He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Leo Kuhn and Charline Kuhn (Miller); his brother Fred L. Kuhn III; and his sister-in-law Janet E. Kuhn. He is survived by: his daughters, Dr. Gabrielle Kuhn of Madison, WI, Erika Kuhn of St. Louis, MO and Ariana Kuhn of Lafayette, IN; his sisters, Janet A. Kuhn (Carol Boyd) of Indianapolis, IN and Karmen R. Kuhn of Marshall, IL; his in-laws, Charles and Phyllis A. Higginbotham of Martinsville, IL; his brothers-in-law, Greg Higginbotham (Carla) of Martinsville, IL and Paul Higginbotham (Delena) of Lawrenceville, IL; and his pets, Nadia and Kat. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (414 S 6th St, Marshall, IL 62441). A Mass was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Union Health Foundation in memory of Dr. William A. Kuhn for new endoscopy equipment, St. Mary's Cemetery, The Chapel of West Lafayette Indiana (Dr. William A. Kuhn Memorial Fund) or the Marshall Public Library."I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7.
