Salm of Martinton, Illinois, born in Chebanse, Illinois, who passed away on October 16, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Rudolph Ahrens and Anna Marie Ahrens (Rabideau); her granddaughter Zoey DeLahr; and her siblings, Harold Ahrens, Francis Ahrens, Geraldine Hinrichs, Doris Taber, Lois Kennedy and Joanna Ahrens.

She is survived by : her husband Harold "Buck" Salm; her children, Katie Collier (Phillip), Kristen New (Pastor Brady), Karissa Salm, Glenda Salm of Watseka, Audrey Sprinkel (Justin), Caleb, Abigaile, Kandi DeLahr (Phil) of Watseka, Peyton and Faith; her great grandchildren, Ellie Collier, Eli New, Lilly Collier, Evangeline New and Camden Collier; and her siblings, Betty Ahrens, Rita Meyers, Kay Green (Jim), Anita Speers (Darrell) and Rudolph "Rudi" Ahrens (Patricia). She is also survived by her four children, eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
