He was predeceased by : his parents, Fred Travers, Sr. and Hazel Travers; his daughter Angela Marie Travers; and his siblings, Fred Travers, Jr., Daphne Bigcraft, Pat Clark and Loretta Pingelski.

He is survived by : his wife Lorraine Travers; his children, Charles Travers Jr. (Brandy) of Alexandria, VA and Stephanie Travers (Carl) of Gilbert, AZ; his grandson Rhys; and his sisters, Brenda Cabral (George) of East Falmouth, MA and Geraldine Castleberry (Rich) of East Falmouth, MA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Barry Wilson Funeral Home & Cremation Services Ltd. (2800 N Center St, Maryville, IL 62062). A memorial service was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (200 N Lange Ave, Maryville, IL 62062).
