Dennis O. Hooker Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on December 12, 2025, at the age of 90, Dennis O. Hooker of Maryville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Hooker and Alice Hooker; his wife Verla Hooker; his siblings, David Hooker and Mary Barris; and his sister-in-law Gwyn Hooker.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy Hooker (Laura) of Mt. Sterling, OH, Stephen Hooker of Cherokee Village, AR, Carleen Pitkin (Daniel) of Highland, IL, Maureen Lane (Steve) of Collinsville, IL and Kimberly Haddix of Indianapolis, IN; his sisters, Julie Flores (Ray), Patricia Ryan, Deborah Boylan (Gary Kusmierczak) and Kristi Haley (John); his brother-in-law John Neal; and his stepsister Bonita. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in his honor to Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church or charity of choice.
