With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Freda Ann Phillips of Maryville, Illinois, born in Alicia, Arkansas, who passed away on December 14, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband James Phillips; her parents, Sidney Steele and Christina Steele; and her siblings, Mary Phillips, Glenda Davidson and Darrell Steele.

She is survived by : her children, James Phillips, Jr. of Maryville, IL and Donna Harper (Mike) of Glen Carbon, IL; her grandchildren, Joshua Harper and Amanda Hornacek (Joe); her great grandchildren, Malaki, Josiah and Harper Hornacek; and her sisters, Carol Gray (Wayne) and Peggy McMillon (Bob).

Memorials may be made to Breeze Hospice, 1909 Dublin Blvd, Suite A, Belleville, IL 62221.
