We announce the death of John A Corrie of Maryville, Illinois, who passed away on July 17, 2026, at the age of 83. John will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Corrie and Peggy Corrie. He is survived by: his wife Ethel Corrie; his daughters, Michelle Pickering (Joseph) and Julie Ridgely (Gabriel); his brothers, Jeff Corrie (Vivian) and Jerry Corrie; his grandchildren, Corrie Pickering (Vivian), Cole Pickering, David Henze, Sarah Henze and Lauren Henze; and his great grandchild Eliana Rose Pickering.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorials be made to the American Heart Association (https://www.heart.org) or to St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Maryville, IL.
