We are sad to announce that, on January 1, 2024, at the age of 89, Opal Wilson of Maryville, Illinois, born in East Saint Louis, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jack E. Wilson; her parents, Kyle E. Beckner and Hannah A. Beckner; and her siblings, Tony, Elvis, Jean, Johnny and John.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Buechler (Doug) and Karen Hancock (John); her grandchildren, Stacey (Dave), Joshua (Jenny), Mandy (Rich), Nicholas and Nathan (Kristine); her great grandchildren, Lyndsay, Abbey, Emma, Myles, Maxwell, Jack, Dylan and Ryder; her niece Debbie; and her nephew Lanny Downard. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
