With sadness, we share the passing of Thomas Messina of Maryville, Illinois. Thomas, born on November 10, 1949, passed away on June 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Messina and Lula Messina (Cornick); his brother Kenny Messina; his parents-in-law, Paul and Carol Gendron; his brother-in-law Dave Prengel; and his cousin Ray Simone.
He is survived by: his wife Lori Messina (Gendron); his daughters, Alison Hancock (Caleb) and Natalie Messina; his grandsons, Forrest, Boyd and Paul Hancock; his close friend Ruby; his sisters, Doris Dannenbrink (Mike), Shirley Powell, Janet Biggs (Ed) and Cathy Ashbaugh (Joe); and his sisters-in-law, Jeanne Messina, Lisa Kelly (Mike), Paula Kwiatkowski (Dave) and Penny Prengel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
