With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Almont R. Shortsleeves (Mascoutah, Illinois), born in Vermont, Illinois, who passed away on December 5, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert R. Shortsleeves and Gloria Shortsleeves. He is survived by: his wife Ann; his children, John (Linda), Michael Shortsleeves (Saori) and Jennifer Reinhardt (Joe); his grandchildren, Chris, Charlie, Charlotte, Emma, Ocean and Kayle; and his sisters, Lisa, Patricia and Ann. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Moll Funeral Home (34 W Main St, Mascoutah, IL 62258).
In lieu of all other gifts, memorials may be made to the wishes of the family.
