He was predeceased by: his daughters, Linda Elliott and Laura Layman; and his siblings, Wauneta Lee, Verna Lisle and Les Layman.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Layman (Jeania) of Lake Zurich, IL, Dee Dee McMillin (Roger) of Floyds Knobs, IN, Jeanene Reed of Mascoutah, IL, Sharon Proksha (Raymond) of Belleville, IL and Shawn Layman (Michelle Lowry) of St. Peters, MO; his sister Charlotte Boyd; and his sister-in-law Norma Engberg. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren.
