He was predeceased by: his father Henry (Violet); and his brother Ronnie Childers. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Jo "Debbie"; his daughters, Starr Anglin (Wendell) and Crystal Shiver; his grandchildren, Ashley, Cordell Anglin, Kaylee and Kelsey Shiver; and his siblings, Dennis Childers (Dinah) and Judy Kins. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
