He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. McCants, and Elouise McCants, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Redella; his sons, Carl McCants (Diann), Clayton McCants (Dawn) and Clifford McCants (Sharissa); his grandchildren, Jonathan McCants (Miranda), Marcia McCants, Morgan McCants, Myles McCants (Shene), Lauren McCants, Nicholas McCants, Alex Lane, Chance Woods, Moriah Woods and Cam'Ron Holcomb; his great grandchildren, Judah, Camille McCants, Kairo and Amaris McCants; his sister Margaret Jeffers; and his sisters-in-law, Louvenia McCants, Rachel Cooper and Sallie Berry.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ Interdenominational Church (689 Scott Troy Rd, Lebanon, IL 62254). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
