With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laverne L. Barthelme of Mascoutah, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on October 9, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew (Clara) and Goss; her husband Robert A. Barthelme; her sister Audrey Engelhard; and her nephew Bruce Engelhard.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Behlke and Gary Barthelme (Lucy); her grandchildren, Shaun, Brian Behlke (Tina), Lisa Grublesky, Lori Rinella and Lyndsey Barthelme Stacy; her great grandchildren, Lance, Emily, Zachary Behlke, Asher, Alice Grublesky, Thaddaus Stacy, Gabriella and Landen Rinella; her sibling's children, Amy Barnowski and Rick Engelhard; her cousin Claire Richter; and her siblings-in-law, Marian Seibert and Bill Berger.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Moll Funeral Home (34 W Main St, Mascoutah, IL 62258). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
