It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lavina June Curry Widner (Mascoutah, Illinois), who passed away on October 24, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Franklin Curry and Alice Louise Klees Curry; and her husband B. Eugene Widner. She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl Widner Burrows (Keith) and Christa Widner Grant (Tim); her sister Joyce Haege; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Burrows, Christy Burrows Cruz (Josue), Sarah Burrows McCarty (Wayne), Tiffany Grant Rinas (Craig), Jarrett Grant (Shana), Danielle Grant Flores (Stephen) and Joshua Grant (Michelle). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and many cherished relatives and friends.
