We announce the death of Marilyn J. Staley of Mascoutah, Illinois, who passed away on August 18, 2026, at the age of 85. Marilyn will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her father Earl (Vivian); her husband Kenneth R. Staley; her stepgranddaughter Mikaela Kehrer; and her siblings, Evelyn "Boots" Lumb, Raymond and Carl Sturgal.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Staley (Peggy) of New Baden, IL and Deanna "Didi" Haley (Mark) of Shipman, IL; her grandsons, Ryan Staley of Mascoutah, IL, Kevin (Beth) of Carlinville, IL, Brandon Haley (Lexi) of Carlinville, IL and Brian Haley (Kourtney) of Carlinville, IL; her stepgrandson Dustin Kehrer (Samantha); her brothers, Donald Sturgal (Sharon) and Bill Sturgal (Darlene); and her close friend Bruce "Woody" Woodrum. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren, two step-great grandchildren.
