He was predeceased by: his father John (Katherine); his wife Kay Lynn; and his brother Michael Riess. He is survived by: his daughter Clarissa Browning (Jeremy); his grandsons, Boston and Kannon Browning; his siblings, Paul Riess, Deanne Riess, Theresa Friederich (Dale) and Larry Riess; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Ri and George Coleman (Vivian). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
