With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roger J. Hund of Mascoutah, Illinois, born in Belleville, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 20, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Hund and Violet Hund; and his siblings-in-law, James Kassly, Patricia Hund and Dorothy Ann Draper.

He is survived by : his wife Marilyn Hund; his children, Lisa Thouvenin (John), Debra Plab and Ryan Hund (Kassie); his grandchildren, Morgan Bauer (Adam), Kelsey Konieczka (Matt), Dawson, Derek Plab, Evelyn, Nolan and Nora Hund; his brothers, Dale Hund of Mascoutah, IL and Larry Hund (Hady) of Magnolia, TX.; and his sister-in-law Dolores "Lori" Kassly. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jesus Catholic Church (419 E Church St, Mascoutah, IL 62258). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to Holy Childhood School or Holy Childhood Memorial Improvement Fund.
