With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ruth A Mattern of Mascoutah, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ruth left this world on June 12, 2025 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her father Albert R. (Meta B.). She is survived by: her son Dean Roehrig (Karen); her grandsons, Ryan Roehrig (Nicole) and Robert Roehrig (Allison); her great grandchildren, Parker, Reese and Emmylou; her brother Robert Dickhaut; her niece Shelia Frerker; and her nephew Bruce Dickhaut (Nancy). She is also survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Calendar Moll Funeral Home (34 W Main St, Mascoutah, IL 62258). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
